When I try to convert an avi file to mpeg using tmpeg encoder sometimes the file is too big and tmpeg wont let me proceed. I have tried reducing the bitrate but it still wont reduce enough. The files are around 135 - 150% of the disk space. can anybody help ?

Sometimes TMPGEnc screws up detecting the length of AVI's. Use the source range setting to make sure that it gets it right.
