Would be good for me for audio CDs as I never waste the money on a label on those. jesterrace777 Mar 12, 2004, 05:46 PM I wonder if you could label a DVD with the CD Burner. If so then that wouldn't be a bad deal. QWERTY Mar 12, 2004, 06:01 PM Unfortunately, it doesn't work with just anything. The CD-R media has to have a special laser sensitive coating on the label side in order for it to work. A DVD would also have to have that coating. handyguy Mar 12, 2004, 07:28 PM Plus you have to design your label. jesterrace777 Mar 13, 2004, 04:12 AM Originally posted by QWERTY Unfortunately, it doesn't work with just anything. Yeah, I just realized that it wouldn't matter since the only DVD discs with this kind of coating would be + format only. Templar Mar 13, 2004, 10:50 AM I figure everybody will have this eventually, and various mfgrs will make the media, in both formats, lowering the cost. jesterrace777 Mar 14, 2004, 05:11 AM Yeah, if that happens it will definitely be worth it. |
