I have a Toshiba DVD-Rom drive that burns DVD-R/DVD+R. I'm using Easy CD Creator 5 Basic. And I'm using a generic brand DVD-R similiar to Princo.

So, here's my problem. When I attempt to backup my music on the DVD-R using Easy CD Creator, it will copy the data until it approaches the last 10 mins of recording. Then it will say that the DVD-R had an error. I have attempted it 3 times so far. Each process takes around 1 hour and 30 mins for 4.5 GB burned.

I just wanted to know if the problem is from my burner, the burning software, or the DVDRs. Thanks for reading.

It's probably your media. Cheap/bad media usually gives out towards the end of the disk.

Grab yourself some Ritek disks and see if the problem disappears.
In the meantime, you may salvage a few of the existing ones, by reducing the amount of files to say 4gb.
