My friend wants me to get a driver for the modem on her Iridium Starbook 510 (1ghz P3, 256MB RAM, 20GB HD) which i thought would be easy enough but a week later I have found nothing.

Doesnt help that the manufacturers website lists NOTHING about drivers...just stuff about warrantys.

driver guide has nothing either...altho it might...i just dont know the modem manufacturer!

Motherboard manufactirer is KAPOK and the model number is SIS 6305

Looked for drivers relating to that but nothin
Also the BIOS is SystemSoft MobilePro 1.01

Btw obvioiusly the modem is a built in one, not PCMCIA
Its detected just as 'PCI Modem'

It's called a search engine.

Use one and discover a new world.
