I've said it loads of times and I'll say it again - personal preference since my son bought one is Sony. Have a look at www.johnlewis.co.uk. They are pricey but IMHO are worth the money.

TFT's really aren't great for games, but for occassional and general use, have a look at the Samsung Syncmaster 172x.

Good warranty, good price, great response time 12ms.

It just won several magazine reviews.
