Hello. I am having some problems with my CD drive.
I have a Samsung SC-152B CD-ROM. It was working fine, but something has caused it to stop. In Device manager I am told the driver is no longer any good for some reason.
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
It was previously using the standard Windows XP driver. I know the Drive is fine, because I booted the computer into DOS with a Win95 boot disk, and I read the drive fine.
I tried updating the ASPI driver thingys that I have seen mentioned in another thread, but this didn't help.
This is actually my friend's computer, so I have no idea what they did that caused this in the first place.
If anyone has any idea why this would happen, I would appreciate any feedback.
Thank You.
