have just reformatted ,and reinstalled xp ,have updated my aspi layer for xp but none of my writers have been recognised by my burning progs ,windows has detected them and i can see them in my computer etc , also whenever i try to install a game or some programs the installation always stops at some point and gives the error message "data.cab 1 etc ,cannot extract file , blah blah " abort ,retry ,ignore but it never goes anyfurther so when u quit i get the message error 1335 or error 2350 internal error , i have looked these errors up on microsoft website but dont really seem to get much info has anyone got any ideas or have come up against this problem ???
