I have WIN XP and I tried out Goback 3 deluxe (newest version). Goback will go through installation, and on boot i see go back screen, then windows XP starts. However, the computer will hang up (black screen) before the XP log on appear. It also hangs in safe mode too. The only way for me to get the computer to work is to uninstall goback. Is there any other goback like software (besides goback and System restore) that I can use to revert my Hard drive? THanks

Check and make sure that your version of GoBack supports XP.

Although I'm a fan of GoBack, it is really unnecessary with XP as it's much more stable than previous Windows versions and has a lot of diagnostic and recovery tools.

System Restore is more than enough for XP formatted with NTFS.

Just get into the habit creating a restore point when you are altering files or installing programs.

Although GoBack runs independently of Windows and therefore can be handy for things like viruses etc, it also uses a lot of system resources, something you can't really afford with XP.

BTW, are you related to William Hung? :)
