i have a xp2200 and geforce2 pro 640 meg running on windows 2k
i notive when playing a game or watching a game demo ever 6 or 7 seconds the game jerks or pauses for a fraction of a second then realised that every time this happens the hard drive light flashes exactly when the pause occurs i turned the game off with nothing else running a notice the hdd light flashes at the same intervels what is it doning and how can i stop it i havnt got indexing enabled but this hasnt helped

Look and see if there any obstructions on the disks.
Make sure u have ur virtual memory settings are good enough.
