i have a ps2 v4. if i get the ps2 no solder mod and the 3.2 swap disks do i have to use the slide key to put backup in. i have never used swap disk, so does the disks eject the tray for you with the use of mod chip?

hi mate u fit the pnp board in ~ no solder board) n the when u put a swap magic disk in cd or dvd the disks stop n if u put the pnp board in proper then old the eject but they will open n swap wid a bk up u got under 10 seconds 2swap it for a bk up lol. its easy!! but id just take the door of n u can buy a swipe card off me for a fiver :)

thanks for the reply. i'll just get the no solder mod and swap disks because soldering the points for the cd control is hard for the v4!

I think going with the flip lid is safer... I just dont trust those nosolder chips anymore.. blew my v4 ba chip... :(
