How do I get Xbox Media Center into the main menu of Evo-x. I currently have XBMP in the main menu but want to change that to XBMC. As it is now I have to go into system management--> launch apps and then click on XBMC. It's not a big deal but if I could change it, that would be great. Thanks for the help.

open evox.ini in note pad, scroll down to the like that begins:

Section "Root"
{

and than find the line below that says
Item "Xbox Media Player......." (or what ever the name of of xbmp appears on the evox menu

Change the title to whatever you want and then change the path to where xbmc is. Here's the entry in my .ini file, (the xbmc xbe is stored in F:\Apps\XBMC\default.xbe)

Item "Xbox Media Centre","f:\Apps\XBMC\default.xbe"

I tried that last night, and the choice shows up on the menu but when I try to access it on the menu it just scrolls over the choice. Isn't there supposed to be some short of shortcut in the XBMC directory also?

Why not just download the 2.6 EvoX?
It's on IRC, www.ircspy.com or www.packetnews.com and also on torrent sites such as suprnova. It installs XBMP and XBMC
