My cdrom doesnt like reading the data that my other drive , a DVD r/rw CR r/rw recorder has recorded, it reads other discs perfectly and with a good speed, but anything thats been recorded by the other drive it takes ages to read if at all, However the DVD r/RW writer records dvds, audio discs perfectly when played on other machines, can anyone help me out with any ideas what could be causing this!!!

What kind of burning software are you using.

Sometimes depending on the software, the cd you burn will get read protected if thats the case you might want to enable your software to write so that other drives can read the data burned.
