hi all, i want to run xbox live,i have a modded xbox,everytime i tunrn the chip off and switch xbox on,it just boots with an error saying please contact microsoft and the disk light flashing red. Y is this and can anyone help?

Does it give an error number on the "please contact microsoft" screen.

If its error 5, then your hard disc isn't locked.

i cant remember off hnad,iam away at the moment,but will check when i get home.So if it is a 5,do i have to lock the harddrive then?How do i do that and can i unlock it again if i need to?

The easiest way to lock a hard drive and the only way I have done it is to use a program called configmagic. It runs on your xbox in evox. It will lock and unlock your hard drive with just a push of a button.

Actually The Easiest Way Would
Be To Pop In Your Slayer's 2.5 And
Select #8 And It'll Give You A Lock
Or Unlock HD Option. Just A Thought.
