Hi All,
I have a bit of a problem. I have downloaded the latest version of DVD2XBOX program.
I have the Evox Dashboard.
Problem is I have no idea how to install it. I know how to FTP to my Xbox so that's not a problem.
I can't seem to find an installtion guide for it anywhere.
Please Help.
Thanks in Advance

ok dude, read xbox-scene.com tutorials because not only do you have to transfer dvd2xbox to your xbox via ftp, you also have to edit the evox.ini file I think!!!!! I use a different dashboard and it has a different named file allowed for editing, so I'm guessing the file name.
Simply you want to edit this file and put in a percific command line which I don't know, thus xbox-scene.com, which tells the dashboard you have a new app, where to find it and to run it!

Here's how.
Unrar the dvd2xbox file to a folder on your pc.
I'll assume you keep all your applications in E:/apps on your Xbox.
Create a new folder in E:/apps called dvd2xbox.
ftp everything from your dvd2xbox folder on your pc to your new dvd2xbox folder in E:/apps.
Reboot the xbox.
Evox should automatically create a link to dvd2xbox in the Launch Apps menu.
I've just done it on my own Xbox and it works.

make sure the .xbe file in the dvd2xbox folder is named default.xbe other wise evox won't pick it up
the method donhay described works for any app- just always make sure the .xbe file is always named default.xbe as thats the file name all dash's (not just evox) look for when searching for files in an automated menu.
you can have them named other things and manually point to each .xbe file, but that would be a little pointless

burn it to media converting it to xiso before burning, open the dvd disc tray and let evox load, launch avalaunch or boxplorer stick the disc in let it load, navigate to the d drive in one window and navigate to your apps folder in the other and then copy it to your apps folder- probably need to create a dvd2xbox folder- or delete the contents of the original dvd2xbox.
you're gonna have to edit the settings file if the directory structure is any different to the one described in the settings file- its pretty obvious what you need to change
