I bout a Xecutor 2.3 Lite Plus from Modchipman.com.
I know its installed right because of the blue LEDs that light up when I turn on my Xbox. However, I think its a blank chip possibily because on bank 1 or 2, when I turn it on, nothing about Cromwell boots up. I just get the normal MS Dash.
Am I doing something wrong? Or should I request a exchange?

Actually, I'm not sure if its installed right.
It doesn't say Xecutor upon bootup. However the lights are blue on the chip! And I also made sure that the chip is enabled too.

it only says xecuter if you have an x2 bios already on there- which for legal reasons they can't- x2 and evox bioses are all hacked m$ bioses they can only provide legal bioses such as the cromwell bios
cromwell is 1mb, set it to the 1x 1mb config, and switch it on

its a lite which means you can select between bank0(512k) and bank1(512k) only
i would check that the lonely pogo pin is making proper contact with the D0 Point

As nimbles said it is an illeagal bios that the executors contain when they are flashed to boot a game so think about it the chip may have been sent to you blank........Mine was when i bought my xecutor 2.2 which also has a pretty blue light on it But i was also given a bios disk to boot up on when i installed the chip.........the blue light only tells you when the chip is on or off ....If the lite is blue the chip may be on but if its a blank it wont boot nuffink.....

just note note for the lite- 256 k bios's can't be used you'll need 512k bios's
