I softmodded my xbox and all was well until as I was screwing the HD into its cradle i dropped my screwdriver when the xbox was on!!!

There is still power as it reboots 3 times, it sounds like there is loss of power to the HD? but it wont boot up to dash anymore?

HELP ME!!! Can it be saved?

Good luck man! I posted this same problem for several weeks and never got an answer. The closest I came was that there was possibly a broken trace on the motherboard. If you do happen to get any good advice, be sure to post it.

have you actually got the screw out or have you left it in

yeah, screw is out... most definitely a trace, but I cant see it! No worries

use a multimeter find the track that is broken and do a track repair
