I ran into a couple of problems with audio CD recording. I have a new computer. I burned several discs and they were all fine. I had a problem when I tried to make an exact copy (per the software instructions). I put Sparks "Indiscreet" in my DVD tray. I put a blank disc in my CDRW tray. I made a copy. I listened to the whole thing and noticed it had a few pops and skips on the last 2 tracks. I made 2 more copies and it did the same thing. I then ripped it from my CDRW tray and burned it to the same tray and it worked fine. I thought my original disc might have errors, so I picked up a new one and tried to record from the DVD tray again. That popped too on the last track. I listened to the original Sparks in the DVD tray and it had POPS! I gave up and now I just rip and burn from the same CDRW tray. Is there a reason the DVD doesn't read this one disc correctly?

The other problem I had was I ripped and recorded a compilation to my CDRW. I tried to make 3 copies I made the first copy then I told it to make 2 more. I left the computer alone while it was burning. The first 2 discs played perfectly. The third stopped during the fourth track and the rest was unreadable. Do you know what I did wrong?

Thanks,
Eddie
