My pioneer 107, is getting power calibration error, using Ritek discs, i'm using original firmware, but have had patched firmware before, can pioneer tell if my drive has beed patched?

pce's have a lot of forum topics, you might search. I don't know what you mean by if pioneer can tell. pces mean you're writing too fast for your meida try 1x.

Alot of people start getting errors with hacked firmware and usually damages the drive. I don't know if pioneer can tell or not, but if they diagnose the drives and they know of these hacked firmware symptoms they might. I never mess with hacked firmware since I heard numerous threads of people screwing up their drives with them.
