what is fastest way to get TV movies onto pc for burning onto DVD?

what proggies are needed? and how long will something like this take, if it can be done? thanks to all

well if its a popular show just search around for it like direct connect or mirc or kazza or even a ftp site. if its not so popular then you gonna need a video card with capture feature on it

Or record onto any digital format, such as a digital video camcorder (mini DV or Digital 8) then capture to your PC....

Of get a tv tuner card .
Then you can record the tv straight to your h/drive, and then burn it to disc.
Get a half decent tv tuner card tho' , it should come with s/ware that turns you h/drive into a vcr.
