I was wondering if anyone could please help me. I recently downloaded sonic recordnow deluxe v7 and after I installed it I have lost both my dvd burners. I have a pioneer dvd-rw dvr-104 and a pioneer dvd-rw dvr-106d. When I turn my pc on Anydvd comes up with a message "no dvd detected" and I cant get anything to recognise that I have 2 dvd drives. I have tried my best to fix things but to no avail. When I check my device driver settings for these drives they both are recognised but they have an exclamation mark on them and they both have this exact following message. "A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternative driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32) " What the hell does that mean? I have uninstalled sonic but I still have no dvd drives. Can anybody help me please? Thanks heaps in advance.

Why did you download it? How do you know its official?

Better take it off. Use Restore & go back to a time your computer worked right.

Ah.......I downloaded it because it is supposed to be a very good program. I didn't think of using system restore. Now I have used it and everything is running fine again. Thanks Handyguy.

I downloaded Sonic Record now DX 7 and it works fine.
Also installed is Clone DVD, Roxio 7, Nero 6x***.
I use Nero for almost everything though.
