Hi there
Recently installed a LG (4082-B) DVD-CD burner, still have my HP CDWriter Plus 9300 installed. The probelm is when i burn audio CD's using the LG burner about 50% of them can no longer be read in my car CD player, the infamous ER-6. They will play on the computer. The car cd player is a relatively new Clarion. I burn with Nero 6. If i go back to the HP burner i can always play the CD in my car. In fact sometimes the cd's that give me the error in the car will play in the car at other times? or parts of them will. I always use reasonble media (this occurs on all brands i use) and burn at 4X. One thing that appears in the Nero burn screen (when using the LG burner) is the choice to burn in DAO or DAO/96. Not sure what the difference is, i read that DAO/96 burns more data on the CD and have been using it. With the HP the only option is to write in DAO
Any ideas and what is the difference between writing Audio Cd's in DAO and DAO/96
Cheers
