A friend an I are trying to play online with Madden 2004. We both have Messiah2 modified playstation 2's that work just fine when playing copied games non-network.

I understand that we won't be able to play copied games without figureing out the DNAS crack, so we both went out and purchased the game.

We're still unable to connect, I assume it's detecting the mod chip so we attempted to disable our mod chips (holding the reset button in for 5 seconds?) but are still having trouble.

His gets a DNAS 402 error and mine gets a DNAS 611 error. Both pass the network tests. Any thoughts or suggestions. We're happy to buy the games, just don't want to rip out our chips...

Thanks,

Andrew

You could always copy the games and patch them to play online. Check out ps2nfo.com for info on that.

I don't know anything about Messiah, but you might be able to turn it on/off with a switch. If you add a switch to turn on/off power to the chip, you might be able to play online.
