Ok I bought a brandnew Ps2 v9 Premod Network Bundle w/ Matrix Infinity w/LA mod installed also I installed the retail FFXI HD now I am new to this setup its a upgrade much needed because I have been just running my v1 Ps2 w/ Neo2.2 ok here is my question ive tried tons of media from Good to Generic DVD+R & DVD-R/CDR/CDRW/ORIGINALS ones that play on my v1 Neo2.2 setup when I put the games in the new v9 ps2 none of them autoboot every single one just hangs at a black screen even ORIGINALS! but here is the weird thing every single one of them will boot even generic/original disks if I hold the select button down FAST BOOT option! Now is this chip working correctly its not a big deal having to hold the select button down to get things to boot but I just thought the chip was in control of everything!?! Do you think its just a firmware bug as I have flashed it w/ v1.2 again to make sure but I still have the same problem! What do you guys think? I got the system from quickmods website you think its is just a fluke do other members with this modchip have the same problem please lend me some advice thanks!
Also where is a good site with info on the Matrix Infinity Operations of loading thanks!

NM I think I found a answer its a bug in the firmware which causes it having the HD installed which should be fixed in the next MI Firmware release! Thanks

Mine does the same thing. Hopefully the next firmware will make it boot all games/dvd w hdd installed wiothout holding select or O.
But I kinda like it, it boots faster then going through the whole ps2 logo intro.
