I downloaded a game "Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden [PSX-Japanese].bin" from Overnet. It's 685MB and unfortunately doesn't come with a .cue file. I've made a succesful burn of it by converting it into an ISO using "BIN2ISO" and by making a
cue file by using the information in the .bin file also using BIN2ISO program. I burned the ISO (I used Alcohol 120%) onto a CD-R using that .cue file I created.
Now here's the problem, when I play the game, there are no voice actors. I know it has voice actors because I've played it before but don't have that CD with me. I enable all the sound options on a ePSXe emulator and it's got the voice acting AND the theme song. I'm not content to play it on a crappy emulator, but it doesn't have the theme song or voice acting on the PS2! But also it was enabling those last 2 options on the ePSXe Sound Config that allowed me to hear the theme song and voice acting on the game. So that's my dilema.

Summary: I downloaded a PS1 game (but it's a bin file with no cue file), thusly, I create a cuefile from the information on the bin using BIN2ISO. No theme song or voice acting when played on PS2 or ePSXe. I enable last 2 options on Sound Config for ePSXe, I hear the voice acting and theme song but I'm not content with playing it on an emulator. Does anyone know what the problem is and if it can be fixed? Thank you.

I would suggest leaving it as a .bin file, and making a cue sheet via notepad. I use these setting for PS1/PS2 games.

FILE "XXXX.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

The "XXXX" being the name of the bin file. Save it as XXXX.cue under all programs, and you'll have a working cue sheet. I do that when I get files in IMG format with no cue aswell.

Since I no longer have the original bin but am getting another game without a .cue I'll try that. Or should I use a cue-making program?

A cue making prgram is fine
