software is a matter of personal choice, clone and Nero are both good and have never failed me when burning DVD's, if your gonna rip DVD's then your going to need a program like DVD decrypter, DVD shrink is also a fantastic peice of software, the cost of the progams can be seen if you visit the manufactures web sites, most have a free trial period so you can try before you buy :rolleyes:

Blank DVD's, most peeps will recommend DVD's with ritek dye, due to there consistancy, these can be found on google for on line ordering or through SVP if you wanna pay the postal charges !!
