I have a 100 GB HD (shows as 93GB in windows) and run XP. My problem is, say I have 10.5 GB free space and I delete 5 GB of files well now it shows as 15.5 GB free as it should, but if I reboot its down to like 14.3 GB free space. This has happened 4 or 5 times now. So I have the same amount of stuff on my PC yet the free space keeps droppin the more I add and delete stuff. System resore is turned off and has been for along time and I ran scandisk and that didnt help. any ideas?
