Hi, I'm building a budget system, but I need to clear a few things up b4 ordering a couple of things.

* Is there much difference between 4x and 8x AGP ports? ...will be using a 128mb 8x compatible card, but was thinking of buying a 4x board.

* Also I'm not a hardcore gamer so I'm not to bothered about FPS, but I would like to rip and burn the odd DVD. So would an XP proccessor have much advantage over a Duron?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd buy an 8x board, just to be safe, as you will notice a difference in newer games.

I'd get an XP as well, as you will notice some difference. DVD ripping is based mostly on your hd and dvd-rom speeds, but if you ever due anything cpu intensive, you'll definately want an xp.

running something like photoshop on a duron is a VERY painful experiance.
