every boot up during bootup on black screen says a new processor chip has been installed press f1 to setup f2 to run default values. how to remove that and auto matic boot to windows?

did you just install a new processor?

how old is the board? it almost sounds like the cmos settings are not being saved after shutdown. if the board is more than two years old I would try replacing the cmos battery.

is pretty new board, p4p800s i think with a p4 3ghz w/ht. i'll try to see if theres a battery on it.
