hey everyone,

ive been having a problem with my cd rom drive. When i look in my cd rom properties i get this in the device status:
Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
I would appreciate any solutions as quickly as possible,

Let me guess, you are using XP?

THIS (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=314060) should fix it. Don't worry that it's not identical to your problem. It should still do the trick.
