Hi everyone :wavey:
Not sure this is in the right section, but here goes....I have a track(my own) which I would like to record my voice onto. Does anyone know any software out there that will allow me to record my voice over the track + then save it?
Thanks for your help!

Cool Edit Pro 2
or
Sound Forge
There are several that you could use. I use Sound Forge myself just because I have it. With a little knowledge and experimentation, you can record yourself with almost any sound editing software. I have no FAQ or How-tos written to decribe the process, but it is not difficult. There are other web pages that can explain it better than I could... I hope this helps! ;)

Adobe bought Cool Edit Pro, and renamed it Audition. It's virtually the same program as Cool Edit Pro 2.

For good quality and fairly simple I use Easy cd creater 5 and open the sound stream part of the program, then I use my karaoke machine through the mixer and my mike and just connect your line out from the mixer to you line in on your p.c after a short learning session with sound stream away you go.Simply records to your hard drive and then burn to a cd.
