Ok what I intend to do is the following can some one tell me if this will work.
My mate has a modded ps2 so I am going to make the MC exploit on his machine with HD Loader on the MC Card is there any thing else I should put on it.
I am then going to use this memcard and ps1 game on my virgin ps2. When the machine boots up now I should be able to get to the HDLoader screen. From here I can copy a game over to my Hard Drive I take it and play it from there.
What I was wondering though is there anyway I can just play the game from the backed up dvdr. without haveing to do a swap.
Also when I copy a game onto the HD does it need to be a original game or can I use backups as well and play them from the Hard Drive

Originals will copy fine But if u wanna put dvd-r's on the hdd using the unmodded ps2 u'll have to do some kind of swap method like the knife trick
