This question may be the most often asked question and afterall may be evn stupid but can you play DVD discs on a non DVD drive?
if so please reply and i need it. is there a software of some kind?

There are absolute different specifications. The laser ray has a different width etc. There are sheep and goat. Apparently the same but very different.
