Hi All!
I have the VOB files of a film – Part 1 in one folder and Part 2 in the other.
Is it possible to add all these VOB files together and burn the complete film onto one disk?
If this is possible and bearing in mind the VOB files in both folders have the same names, would I have to rename some of them before I attempted the burning?
Is there an application to do this?
Cheers! :round:

You could just use VobMerge to join the Vobs together then you can load it into your authoring program.

Well I used VobMerge and joined all the Vob files but the joined Vob file didn't play?

Hmm well i have never had this problem, every file i have joined has played fine.
You can always load each VOB into your DVD Authoring software as most of them support joining.
This is what i do as i find joining files never works correctly in the sense that when i load them into my authoring software it goes out of synch.

DVD Lab can join the files but it may go out of synch, although what you can do is link each movie file together so they play as normal (i.e when one vob is finished playing it goes to the next one)

why go through all the trouble! use vobedit to join the files, then use ifoedit to creat new ifo. Then use nero6 to burn it to a dvd. you need to go to goodle and search for information on how to use vobedit and ifoedit.
