Ok so I just purchased the box set and want to back these discs up before they get scratched by kids.
Tried using normal DVD Shrink 3.2 and it gets to 46% and says error I/O device....
ALso tried DVD Decrypter in File Mode and got error half way through.

Anyone know how to make backup copy of these DVD's ?
Thanks

This sounds like either a poorly authored DVD, or there is somekind manufacturing defect on the disc which is stopping it being read.

I would suggest you take it back to the store of purchase and get it replaced, saying it skips or freezes etc

I had the same problem with American Wedding. My copy was crap but my friends was fine. I ripped Star wars today and had no problems. Xchange it

If you'r doing full movie, then their is a dummy file in their that prevents you from backing up. There's a way around it. I believe I saw it in the doom9.org forums. I'll try to find it. I would just do the movie only mode (reauthor it) so the quality will be good w/ no extras and watch that and keep your originals in a safe place
