OK, have just bought an Hitachi DZ-MV550A dvd camcorder. Only problem is, none of my drives will play the dvdram's.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is a good drive to go for, as I can't seem to find many out there and I know naff all about the bloody things.

Thanks!!!!!

I prefer camcorders that use DV tape, but as you already have it, I guess that's not relevant.

LG drives will play anything, DVD RAM, DVD-R/W, DVD+R/W, as well as CDR/W, and are well priced.

English Chicky :) , to be more specific, the drive I am talking about is a DVD burner, and the model number is GSA-4120B.

One of the great things apart from all the formats it does is that it will also burn dual layer DVD+R discs. (Recommended retail is less than AUS $200)

Most manufacturers have ignored DVD Ram, especially now dual layer is entering the market.

Although I'm in Australia, you should be able to source this drive in the UK, even though you guys are behind the rest of the world. :)

There are no mods here, so you can talk about anything. :)

Anyway, I have special permission to harass and annoy anyone.

Have fun with your camcorder filming the murders and car hijacks.

Bye-bye English chicky. :wavey:

Sorry to disappoint you Insomniac, but I live in Wisconsin, where the most entertaining thing that occurs is cow tipping.

Do they mind you filming them with your camcorder?
