britchick95 Sep 22, 2004, 04:26 PM OK, have just bought an Hitachi DZ-MV550A dvd camcorder. Only problem is, none of my drives will play the dvdram's.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is a good drive to go for, as I can't seem to find many out there and I know naff all about the bloody things. Thanks!!!!! LG drives will play anything, DVD RAM, DVD-R/W, DVD+R/W, as well as CDR/W, and are well priced. One of the great things apart from all the formats it does is that it will also burn dual layer DVD+R discs. (Recommended retail is less than AUS $200) Most manufacturers have ignored DVD Ram, especially now dual layer is entering the market.
