Bad pool call can be a few things and is hard to diagnose.

It can be a device driver, power supply, faulty ram etc.

It could even be a pool cleaner who does a bad job. :)

Get some programs to test your hardware like Sisoftware Sandra, Dr Hardware, MemTest etc to at least rule them out of the equation.

If you have compatible hardware you could swap over to eliminate possible causes then that would be a great help.

So what does it actually mean Inso? "bad pool Call"

I don't know all the meanings, but I do remember remember reading that "bad pool call" is sometimes a corrupt device driver trying to access the wrong resources, or faulty hardware not behaving as it should.

It could also be something completely different.

It's one of those wonderful, vague descriptions that only Microsoft do so well. :)

Registry thing. Use Restore, return to a time it worked.

btw, you can find answers much faster if you use a search engine & put in your phrase you got.
