Anyone had trouble with this player.
My first player lasted me 2 years but I have had to replace the new one twice in the last 15 mths due to graphics breaking up, Two friends of mine also are having the same problem, Was told by a dealer that they thing the problem is the graphics board and it can be replaced for £60. Are the so called Proffecional player no longer being made as reliable as in the past...

Had a friend with same problem - it was also the graphics board his was about 2 years old cost £60.00 + to replace.
I am personally now going the route of a EK cd+g decoder (£125.00) and linking to my dual cd player in the console - but also taking along my JVC karaoke player to the gigs as a back-up.

cookies are selling a full pro spec DVD/CD+G player for £70 http://www.cookies.co.uk/index.php?page=equip_single&sidebar=yes&menu=22&pid=LAFLFDV965
got to be worth a try, I personally would NOT buy the JVC/RSQ these days. I was lucky I bought one of the earlier machines which plays ALL of my CDR's, iincluding ALL of those in VCD format. Later machines just won't play VCD's without jumping and skipping, later machines play perfect discs as though the graphics are scrambled all over the screen (even though when I check them on my player they show as 100% pefect) Even the cheapo DVD players play CD+G better than new JVC's/RSQ's. The reason for this? I've been told the laser power has been turned down. Anyway rather than spend 60 odd quid repairing it buy a brand new machine from Cookies for £70 or get the AWF machine (which plays mp3+G) from Karaoke Direct for about £110

Trouble with a dvd player fro karaoke there very slow on the loading side of things and they are neally always a remote control operational needing the remote to be taken to all gigs.
Looks like its either a puter set up or a new board.
On that point anyone no where to get a board cheap
