I have home video and I want to make dvd. How do I do it.I use windvd to make dvd after burnt I open the disk manger following message pop ups "[B]This is not a dvd-video readydisk. either there is no dvd-video IFO file or the file system not matches do you want rebnild it ?. yes" i preesed . I having hard time to make dvd. Please give me full step by step instruction making dvd disk. What is stands for IFO file. How that IFO file work. Is there any web site gives full detail about the dvd file extention.

Firsty if you want to see what the DVD Structure is all about go have a look over at Doom9.org and click on the basic section and there is a good articl about it.

But if you are new to DVD Authroring it is going to be very confusing to be honest.

As for step by step instructions there are loads of different authoring programs you can use to make a DVD and it would be impossible to explain about all of them.

I suggest you download the trial version of TMPGEnc DVD Author, and have a play with this, very simple to use and gives good enough results.
