Hi,
I have just bought an external DVD drive and installed it with the cd that came with it...
The computer is seeing it fine but when i try double clicking on the drive it won't open it just shows the following message: Device is not ready...retry or cancel...
On the properties for the drive it shows what DVD is in and the eject button will even work but i am unable to access any DVD i put in...If anyone has ever come across this problem or knows a fix could they tell me please
As far as i know it's a DVDRW IDE 1008...
My system info is:
Windows 98
160 MB ram
Intel celeron MMX 300 Mhz
