i installed a duo2 on a ver 4 gap bios. i followed the images off of www.duomodchip.com. i have installed the chip, and wires four times with the same results. if i take the chip out the ps2 works as if nothing ever been done to it. but with the chip in, the ps2 starts normal with original ps2 games then comes to the red screen asking for a ps2, or ps1 disk screen. with known working backups from another ps2, i get a disk read error. if i hold the power button for 5 seconds to disable the chip, original games boot fine, and backups go to the red screen. with dvd's i get a disk read with the chip in, and work fine if i hold the power button. could this be a wiring/solder problem or might i have a bad chip?
