I have a toshiba satellite 3000 running on windows xp and it comes with a s-video output. How can I ouput my display onto the tv? I've checked the display settings...but there are no options for me to choose for twinview or anything of the sorts.

My display properties ->settings showed:

"Display: (Multiple montior) on NVIDIA Geforce2 Go (Toshiba)"

The Advanced button...
only had "General, Monitor, Adapter, Troubleshoot, Color Management"

I am a newbie. Can anyone help me please?

If I remember rightly you hit one of the "F" keys. Hook up your TV to the TV out and hit one. I would try F5 first. After that it`s just pot luck. Don`t bother with F1 cos that`s the "Help" key
Hope this helps ya :D

Afterthought: There is likely to be something in your graphics/display settings to enable TV out. Check that first. Right click the Desktop and select "Properties". Then rummage around till you find it.
Good luck :)
