Nero Burning Rom 6.6 using a Lite-on DVD-R/W LDW411S Drive running on Windows XP Pro (SP2). AMD Athlon XP 2200+ with 768 RAM on a MSI KT4V motherboard.
In the burn options dialog box, under the date tab, there is a place to enter the dates for expiration of a CD - rendering it inaccessable. I have been playing around with it trying to make a CD "expire" and can not seem to get it to work - I check by rolling the date of my computer, or any computer, to a date exceeding the expiration date. Any suggestions or burning software that will let you compile a data CD and give you the ability to make that CD expire on a particular date would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I also have Nero 6.6, but can you tell me exactly where this option is?

Is it in Nero Burning Rom, and exactly where is it?

Yeah, when you click the Burn Icon on the toolbar it pops up the burn compilation dialog box where you can select the tabs at the top - Info, Multisession, ISO, Label, Dates, Misc and Burn. It is on the Dates tab, you have the ability to set the volume creation, modification, effective, and expiration date. However, I haven't been able to get it to work yet. There isn't anything in the FAQ's or User manual about it either.
