I thinking about buying a system that contains the following:
1. Intel BOXD925XBCLK LGA775/DDR2/MATX Motherboard (ewiz.com)
2.Antec Aria mirco-atx case 300watt
3. ddr2 1gb 533mhz
4. maxtor 300gb 7200rpm sata
5. western digital 74gb 10krpm sata
6. msi ati x600xt pci-express video card
7. thermaltake aquaris 3 liquid cooling box
I'm not sure if thats enough power to run all of that cause i don't want blow something up.

is that maxtor the one that has the 16MB cash (im after one)
for the PSU i'd go for 450watt+ the bast is Tagan they make a 330W that will
run ok on that setup
thermaltake silent purepower 480 w psu. is a good psu too
the OCZ PowerStream come in 420W 470W & 520W they R OK.
dus that video card need a PSU moex as i do not have pci-express.
all the PSUs have SATA power moex on them.
i run thermaltake silent purepower 560w on my setup & it dus the job.

I think if you want to design a power system, think about this. I am running a p-4 processor 3.0 ghz at 3.6 ghz without additional cooling. I use only ASUS Motherboards the one I currently have is a P4P800. The bios has built in overclocking and allows you to access it via a control panel rather than in bios. The rest of your system looks ok but I would suggest Kingston RAM. I would suggest the Asus P5GD2 Premium if you want to use a PCI Express video card. Here are some of the features AI NOS (Non-delay Overclocking System) AI NET2 network diagnosis before entering OS, WiFi-g? powered by WiFi@HOME? Technology Stack Cool? patented fanless cooling system Overclocking Features AI NOS? (Non-delay Overclocking System) AI Overclocking (intelligent CPU frequency tuner) CPU, Memory, and PCIe x16 voltage adjustable
SFS (Stepless Frequency Selection) from 100MHz up to 400MHz at 1MHz increment
Now you are talking about having a stable platform to build a system. You can check the spec’s at www.asus.com. Good luck.

thanks for the input guys. This system was going to be a gaming system. I've been thinking that I'll go with a 350+ watt system instead of a 300watt that way i'll be safe.
As far as i can tell the pci-express doesn't have a molex power cable going to it as I think what I read on the net that the pci-express slot is running about 60watts I could be wrong though.
The maxtor hard drive I mentioned is the 16mb cache (not cash :P) I plan on using this drive to store my games on it (iso format) and using the WD 74gb to install the games I want to play. I figure this is going to be a fastest pc i've ever built since I've built alot of them in the past.
If your looking for parts the best place I found is ewiz.com. Prices change often.
