I got this laptop from a friend who said it would keep freezing on him and he wanted to totally reinstall and format everything. I did so, and reinstalled Windows XP SP2 and the setup ran through fine, but now whenever i boot the OS it goes to the logon screen and as soon as the logon screen ends, the computer restarts. I let it go for about 20 min and it just kept restarting over and over again. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.
