Hello all, this is my first post, so help is greatly appreciated.


I recently mounted a game onto a cd-rw, inserted it into my disk drive, and the install shield wizard launched without any problems. everything was fine untill the game;s components were about to be installed, at which point, this message appeared:


"The System cannot read from the specified Device"

Retry Cancel



I clicked retry, and got the same results. i then put it in my writing drive, and the same thing occured. I tried to mount the game to a CD-R, but then the drives failed even to recognize that there was a cd in them.


Im very lost, and i have no idea what that message means. help would greatly be appreciated.
