Problem with Backing Up SIMS 2 Cd version

Hiya Guys,

I have tried to make a backup of Sims 2(PC) with Clonecd 5.0.4.2 however I keep on getting read errors.

I have told Clonecd to ignore read errors and continue, On the backup I constantly get read :yell: problems with the Retry or cancel install option.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

Getting read errors during image making is normal and is part of the copy protection used (Probably Safedisc).

Before you can even try to make a copy you need a capable burner.

Usually LiteOn, Asus, Plex Premium and LG are pretty good.

Use a protection scanner like A-Ray, Alcoholer, ClonyXXL etc to determine the exact protection used.

If your burner is suitable, CloneCD or Alcohol 120% should be able to make a working copy.
