I have an internal IDE HP 9140 CD writer. By putting it inside a USB enclosure, I was able to access it through USB as an external USB drive, but it works only as a CD-ROM drive.

Is it possible to load some drivers, so that it is accessible as an external CD-RW driver through USB? Where can I find these drivers.
