Hi

I am new to this forum and great to have found it ...

I just got a dvd burner or this is the second one. I got a sony one and had to have it changed to a pioneer one . I have 3 different makes of cds to use for burning and all of a sudden with Nero when i try to mp3 the last lot of my albums it keeps on crashing all of my discs . I get a log file and don't understand it as nero gives me an error cannot read data. I am not sure if there is a flaw in a track as i cant figure it out with nero..

Hope it is not too much by posting the log details in here but it is to figure out if anyone can work it out

Sounds like the burner's not a fault here. Try copying the mp3s to a temporary folder on, say, the desktop, and see if they can be copied successfully from one drive to another. Then try loading the mp3s into a wave editor like CoolEdit and check they read and play okay? If all works well, then you may well have a compatibility issue with the master/slave setup up two different brands of cd device, try swapping your two cd-drives around?
Try it also with one of the drives unplugged, as your (I know I keep saying this folks!) power supply might be at it's limit, and cutting out the hard drive as you burn discs, making the files unaccessable for a split second. You've got a lot of power-hungry stuff running looking at the log, and might be in need of a PSU that can provide a steady current for the duration of a burn.

when i try to mp3 the last lot of my albums it keeps on crashing all of my discs

Try MP3-ing the tracks a few at a time, I assume your tring to MP3 and burn all in one task ? try to MP3 to the hard drive and then copy to disc.

you may just have a poor quality track in the bunch, the queuing you can see is the program waiting for the data
