im using an old previously networked pc. At first i had no problems, but then it wouldnt recognise anything in the drive. I tried putting a different cdrw in, which didnt work, and then putting the original cdrom in, at the correct jumper settings. However, every time my pc wont start up any further than saying ..getting boot or something from ide or floppy...
if i unplug the cdr cables it starts up fine.
can anyone offer me some help?
i,ve also tried all variations of jumper settings, and swapping the sequence of the cable on hard drive and cdrom.
