Unable to use a backup disc to play RCT 3, Need Help

I have just recently backed up RCT3 but when I go to play it, it says to insert the original game cd and take the backup copy out. I need toknow how I can backup the disc and then use it properly without this message coming up.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming you mean Roller Coaster Tycoon 3?

Anyway, you need a suitable burner in order to make a copy that behaves the same as the original.

It's protected by Securom as far as I know, so you burner must be able to read Sub Channel Data.

If it can't, just make a copy with any burning program, or keep the unsuccessful copy you have already made and use a "No CD" patch so it doesn't ask for the CD when playing.

If you have a suitable burner, you need to either download or make a "BWA" file and use Twinpeak to patch the image and then burn the patched image with CloneCD.

The resulting copy should behave the same as the original.
